Things To Do and Links

A stay at Log Cabin Point can be as relaxed or as adventurous as you want it to be! Here are some things you can do right here:

• Relax with a good book in a lawn chair by the water
  (check out our book exchange in the store)
• Sip a lovely glass of county wine, paired with local cheese
  (Black Prince wines and Black River cheeses available on site)
• Build a sandcastle on the beach with the kids
  (we have our own quiet little beach, or there's sand galore at Sandbanks)
• Paddle down the river and see how many turtles you can count
  (canoes, kayaks and paddleboat rentals right here)
• Cruise East Lake on a pontoon boat
  (2 pontoon boats available to rent)
• Catch dinner
  (Ontario Fishing Licenses, tackle, gear, worms and boats available)
• Go for an early morning walk, hike or jog
  (check out the Cedar Sands nature trail at Sandbanks, or use our Elliptical as you gaze across East Lake)
• Go for a swim, or just float on an air mattress
• See who can do the best belly flop
  (jump on the Log Cabin Point water trampoline)
• Play a good old game of Monopoly, or Scrabble, or Trivial Pursuit, or...
  (lots of board games available to borrow)
• Hold a ping pong championship
  (ping pong, air hockey and shuffleboard games are in the Rec Room)
• Challenge the neighbouring cottage to a volleyball tourney
  (or badminton, or croquet, or horseshoes, or giant checkers...)
• Treat yourself to an ice cream cone
  (mmmm creamy Nestlé ice cream and treats in our ice cream shoppe)
• Curl up with a good movie
  (TVs with satellite or VCR or DVD in each cottage & movies available in the store)
• Roast marshmallows or S'mores over the campfire
(each cottage has its own firepit, and all the s’more ingredients are always on hand in the store)
